wow, thank you sweetheart; if only my parents were the same as you. (they’re great, but their understanding of sexual orientations is strictly limited to either gay or straight)

most of the time i don’t identify as anything, considering my perpetual single-ness kind of allows me to have an ambiguous orientation. Much like how barbie and ken dolls are never anatomically correct due to the fact that they don’t have to use their wiggly bits in play time (thought mine were known to be put into some compromising positions - which unnerved my babysitter i can tell you that)

however, if someone asks me, like how you just did lovely, i will identify myself as Pan. i’m not sure how familiar you are with the identity, but it honestly is the only sexual orientation that i would be comfortable being known as.

i am the kind of person that has somehow managed to achieve levels of cluelessness that are unfathomable to most of society, which makes it easy for me to look over labels (aka gender and sexual orientation) that others tend to obsess over.

this is not at all to say that it is bad for people to question those labels or to be curious over what others label themselves as. where i tend to have problems is when people decide to create labels for others, the only person you are allowed to label is yourself and i think a lot of society tends to forget that. 

my lack of necessity of labels makes my sexual orientation very open. i am attracted to people with strong personalities, and very androgynous looking people. people that tend to live in the gray area of gender tend to be the most attractive to me because for me, i see that as the person recognizing the gender binary society has put into place and absolutely 100% fucking with it, which i love.

of course i took your relatively simple question and decided to give you an essay, i hope you will forgive me. and sweetheart, never be too shy to ask me anything, i could never be offended by simple curiosity <3
